Loft Design Store was established in May 2005 to fill a gap in the local market for quality NZ made furniture that could be customized to fit people’s homes and tastes.
We researched our suppliers in depth to find the ones that offered the best product choices, a great range of styles and great workmanship.
We believe in creating a store that utilizes the best of NZ Made to ensure that New Zealanders have jobs and continue to create great things.
It’s not about price; it’s about quality, longevity and great service.
In 2009 we added a Gallery to our store – we’ve always utilized our wall space to bring you great Art as part of the whole Interior scheme but we wanted to expand this into offering the store as a Gallery to artists.
We hold Exhibitions every 4 to 6 weeks where we showcase particular artist’s work- prints, photography, oils, and watercolors’. Watch the Gallery page for who’s coming up and who’s exhibiting now. If you’re interested in showing your art in our space please contact us direct.
As well as having our Design Store & Gallery as a showcase for what we do, we can custom make your furniture and furnishings, drapes and blinds, lamps and rugs. Come and visit us, we’ll be happy to give you ideas and inspiration. We’ll come to your home and measure your spaces for new furniture or re-upholstery as well as new drapes. And of course, don’t forget we do offer an Interior Design service. We have a broad variety of homes and projects that have been completed from Northland to Christchurch.
